Host a Table

Frequently Asked Questions

What does it mean to be a Table Hostess?

Serving as a Table Hostess for The Journey means you are committed to filling a table, 10 seats, at the event. You will be in charge of selecting who sits with you. You can purchase a table to fill or your guests can purchase their tickets individually. As a thank you, you will receive an exclusive Table Hostess bag filled with goodies!

How do I sign up to be a Table Hostess?

When purchasing your Journey ticket, leave a comment letting us know that you want to host a table in the notes section, or email Allie Schneider at journeytix@jld.org.

How many seats are at each table?

Each table has room for 10 guests.

Is there a benefit to filling my table early?

YES! Giving us your list of guest names early ensures better placement. You can also purchase your table in full, lock in your placement and have your friends pay you once they are ready to commit.

What if I can’t pay for my entire table upfront?

That is fine. We will still need your help filling the table! Please encourage the rest of your group to purchase their tickets ASAP so you secure a better table location in the ballroom.

What if I commit, but then can’t fill my table?

If you can’t fill your entire table of 10 guests, we will make sure to place individual ticket purchasers at your table. You will no longer be eligible for a Table Hostess bag, but will still be there enjoying The Journey with friends while making new ones!

How do people make sure they are seated at my table?

You can purchase the table in full and have your guests pay you directly OR you can have individual guests purchase their tickets. When your guests purchase their tickets, they will need to add your name in their ticket registration. We will take care of the rest!
